Quietdrive
With music that's an exhilarating mix of buzzsaw guitars, chiming
melodies, and hard-to-shake hooks, Quietdrive has thousands of
ravenous fans, and is currently touring the country in support of
their CD, produced by Butch Walker. Just how big are they? Well their
singles, "Take a Drink" and "Rise from the Ashes" have been downloaded a
combined 400,000 times on MySpace alone - and that's big! I got a
chance to shoot the band before their show at UCSD, in La Jolla,
California and they talked about success, fans, and life on the road!
Quietdrive is Kevin Truckenmiller on vocals, Matt Kirby on guitar and
vocals, Brandon Lanier on drums, Justin Bonhiver on guitar, and Droo
Hastings on bass.
